Privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026. This policy covers the Wayfarion website at wayfarion.com and the Wayfarion game, both from Steele Studios.

The website

wayfarion.com does not ask you to make an account, and it does not run advertising or analytics cookies. The host keeps ordinary server logs: the address of the computer that requested a page, the browser type, the page requested, and the time. Those logs are used to operate and protect the site.

Links to Discord, YouTube, X, Facebook, Steam, and the Steele Studios site leave wayfarion.com. Those services have their own policies.

The game

A single-player run is stored on your computer. Buying the game on Steam, and the Steam account around that purchase, are handled by Valve under the Steam Privacy Policy.

Co-op is optional. If you open or join a lobby, the game connects to a Steele Studios relay at nightsdawn.net and sends that session what the other ships need to see: who is in the lobby, ship position, shots, and room changes. Single-player does not open that connection. Close the lobby and the session ends.

What we do not do

Steele Studios does not sell personal information.
